How we score
The Website Doctor runs a few dozen automated checks on your homepage. It is a conversation starter, not a certificate.
Each check is either passed (full points), a warning (half points) or failed (no points), multiplied by its weight from 1 to 3. A category score is the share of points reached, rounded to steps of 5. Checks we cannot judge are left out and never count against you. A category needs at least 3 judged checks, and the health score is the average of at least 3 scored categories.

What we don't check – colour contrast, keyboard navigation, Core Web Vitals in a real browser, content quality, and anything behind a login. A good score does not mean a site is secure or accessible.
